Thank you @wellfan good to hear. I'll keep an eye on things but hopefully it'll even out. I noticed the other thread that says fuel economy improves when the mileage increases, so I might just need some more miles on the clock. I'll take note of the switch tho......an ignore it 😉😉😉😉

No problem. I should state though, the 1.0 litre courtesy car was brand new, had only a few hundred miles on the clock. I know people do state that fuel consumption can improve, but in my experience, this is more noticeable in diesel engine cars.
Just drive the car in the gear you think is best, not allowing the engine to labour at any stage. The car should drive at 30MPH, and above, in fifth gear quite happily. Only needing to change down if looking for a rapid burst of acceleration (if that is possible in the 1.0)!!

I just picked up my new 108 from Arnold Clark and I've noticed it's a shaky car when stationary (sometimes when moving away nothing to do with coil pack or spark plugs I know that already) - it feels as if the whole car is vibrating underneath me. I am perhaps just used to a quieter, smoother Corsa but it does feel a bit like something is wrong? Can anyone help or give some advice??? Should I go back to the dealer to query??

Exclamation Warning lights galore

So had my 108 since October, everything seems fine for the first few months but then the warning lights started to come and completely at random. Much to ribbing of friends saying "That's what happens when you buy a French car."

Sometimes it would be one or two and sometimes all of them with a very annoying intermittent warning beep.

Took to dealers, they cleared the faults (reset the ECU?) And it was ok for another month But the same issue came back with a vengeance.

Thankfully it's still under warranty and is in the shop now, has been for 2 days.

It so intermittent that I drove about 1000 miles last weekend with noting, no warnings. the day after it was Christmas on the dashboard.

What was odd is everything still worked, car didn't go into limp mode (if it has it)

hoping to get it back today as the garage don't have any spare courtesy cars.

pew pew............ hit!
