1000 off a new Peugeot 108

How's this for a deal I've just found?!

Save more than 980 off a 108:

The car Peugeot 108 1.0 Active 3dr
The saving 982.30
The discounted price 8612.70
The broker Drivethedeal.com

That's a great saving!

Wow that is a good deal!

It also includes 12 months Road Tax(!), a 3 year manufacturer warranty, and free delivery anywhere in England.

A brand new car from a genuine Peugeot dealer too.

I bought mine from ukcardeals and got nearly 2.5k off the list price for my TOP allure.
The car was delivered by a peugeot dealership in leicester!

Perfectly so in my case, although obviously I couldn't vouch for all brokers.

Worked great for me

I got that much off from my local dealer just by asking. Mind you, the first dealer I asked almost escorted me off the premises. It pays to ask, but take the broker's quote with you!

Smart, are you saying you got the amount off the OP mentioned? Or the amount I detailed?

I agree with you though: its a good idea to take a like for like quote/offer with you.

Yeah, take this quote to your dealers and you still have the reassurance of where you are buying from with the decent price too. Always have a way to back up your argument when negotiating on price!

I went to my local dealer armed with a quote from a broker and one from a dealer in another county. The local dealer gave me 980 off the list price. This was in August before customer cars had been shipped. The dealer still made a small profit so everyone was happy.

Nice one!

A lot of the time dealers make money based on the amount of cars they sell, not necessarily off the cars themselves.
