I've got the 1.2 too.

I've not run it completely dry - although last week I did a little experiment to get the tank as empty as I dared (the DIS was showing 5 miles remaining in the tank!!).
I got 325 miles. The fuel light was very much on, and there were no bars left on the display.
My average is showing as 43.1 mpg and my car has done 2900 miles. I do a mixture of 15 mile motorway and short (c5-10 mile) town journeys

I've got the 1.0 litre.

My average is showing as 48.8mpg. I have 1700 miles on the clock and nearly all of my miles driven so far have been urban driving (mainly to and from work where most roads are max 20mph limit roads and which is 2 miles there, 2 miles back). Haven't taken it out on a long motorway run yet.

I've got the 2tronic and got 335 out of the first tank which I was told by the garage they'd put in £35 worth of fuel. I never got near the stated miles with either of my 107s so I'm hoping the 108 will do slightly better.

I get approximately 64 mpg with the 1.2 model. I drive very light footed (boring) with the very occasional burst up to 90-mph once in a tankful, just to keep the cobwebs from taking over. I do get above 70 mpg when i am motorway driving at around 57 mph on long distance drives, and have recorded 78-mpg Surrey to Kent 120 mile journey, this soon deteriorates rapidly with queuing, town driving and steep hills. The first owner recorded an average 47.9mpg over 20,000 miles as an average
