Coloured T-Cut and Wax are really good at disguising minor surface scratches on our red 108, but for stone chips I would reckon it would be very ineffective. I usually buy a small pot of the correct paint, and depending on the size of the chip use either the supplied brush for larger chips, or a toothpick for the smaller ones. Can be very effective if you take your time and build up the layers. We have both white and red cars, and it works equally well on both of them.Hi, I've have recently brought a 2 year old 108...which I LOVE!!! and i would like to try a coloured wax to hide some of the small chips she has. Has anyone used a coloured wax that they would recommend? Thanks. x
It will "cover" some tiny, minor, hardly visible anyway scratches or swirls but anything a bit deeper is a no go for this product. You do need to keep re-applying it too, as it does just cover them up, not actually repair them. How often do you need to apply the wax?
